Our humble beginnings root back to 1989, when Mrs Renuka Galahitiyawa commenced operations of a small scale manufacturing unit at the backyard of her residence.

The business and the factory was shifted to Kalaeliya Road, Ja-Ela where the main factory is currently situated.
Commenced operations of Nilu Fashion (Pvt) Ltd taking a significant step in the journey of becoming a pioneer in the local ladies-wear market.
A new factory was opened in Negombo for the exportation of finished garments under ‘Nishara Export & Import (Pvt) Ltd’
A new factory was opened at Seeduwa to commence operations of Wellington Apparel (Pvt) Ltd
A new factory was opened at Ambalangoda to commence operations of Okel Roo Apparel (Pvt) Ltd
